Ski Swap SALE!

Used rental equipment from Berkshire East will also be sold at reduced prices.
Bring in your used equipment for swap or sale. There will even be a limited amount of free equipment. This swap is being run as a fundraiser for the Berkshire East Ski Patrol, which will take a 20% commission on all sales.
Good condition, old and used equipment may be dropped off the morning of the swap from 9am until noon. All equipment must be picked up from the swap by 4 pm that afternoon.

Ski Update
As the weather beings to turn we are getting excited here at Berkshire East about the upcoming winter season. We believe that great skiing is the reason most people come here. This summer we have been investing in our conditions. We have put in 30 new snow guns, and can’t wait to fire them up. We have done a lot of trail work all around the top of the mountain and on the Mohawk trail. We believe that this will dramatically improve riding for everybody. We are hard at work optimizing our parks, by hiring a terrain park director and clearing out space for a second park.
Wind Turbine Update
Berkshire East will be totally wind powered this year! The crews have been working on the foundation and making sure that the Turbine can make it to the top of the mountain. The base has been set and leveled. Once everything is ready we will pour the concrete, which will take several weeks to cure. The turbine has made it across the ocean and through customs. It should arrive in Charlemont by early next month. If everything goes as planned the wind turbine should be operational by opening weekend.
Zipping into Winter
People have been arriving in droves at Berkshire East to see the fall foliage from our ziplines. The parking lot was so full last weekend it almost looked like ski season! We are going to keep zipping right into winter (the views will be amazing) so if you haven’t zipped yet see what you have been missing on YouTube.

Zip and Treat: Halloween at Berkshire East
We are inviting children ages 8-12 to come zip our base area tour this Halloween for just $10. Reservations are required and space is limited. Please call ahead because we don’t want any pouty princesses or sad superheroes around here!
Tours will leave at 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00. Please arrive 30 minutes before your tour to get suited up. Costumes are encouraged, but children must be able to wear a helmet and can’t wear anything that might get tangled.
There will be treats.
